Braeden cashed in his birthday gift, which was a coupon for a date with me to go get ice cream and then to the book store to pick out a new book. We headed to the Marble Slab and he got vanilla ice cream with gummy bears and marshmallows (seems he thoroughly enjoyed it), and then we headed next door to Chapters. He was drawn to the toy section rather than the book section and was quite taken with nifty rollercoaster track. Of course it’s for age 9+, and there are about a thousand pieces. I’m pretty sure Jess had fun assembling it.
So much for your efforts to enhance literacy and the power of books!
Easy, mom, he gets lots of books.
Who is that gorgeous kid? That roller-coaster track is more of a giant project for adults which was strangely satisfying.
