We stayed at the KOA in Revelstoke, and it’s not a bad campground really. After a leisurely morning, we took the pups for a nice walk along the river. Polly somehow managed to fall in at some point, and we almost left without her, until we noticed she wasn’t with us. We hunted for her along the river bank, and lo and behold, she was treading water in a little eddy next to a steep, rocky embankment. Colin had to climb down and pull her out of the water, but she didn’t seem any worse for wear. Crazy dog.
Well, we didn’t manage to get on the road until about 1:00 today, but we made it to Revelstoke in one piece by about 9:00 at night. Here’s my handsome hubby smiling for me at one of the rest stops we took for the pups to stretch their legs.
What a fantastic picture of Colin :D
Long, long day at the office today. And then home to start packing for the Fletcher/Stokes family camp-out in Revelstoke! We also stopped by Julie and Jess’s place to work on the new boat a bit and so Julie and I could go grocery shopping together. Tomorrow morning we depart, back on Sunday!
Look at our boat! She’s a pretty shade in that lighting.
Yup, you’re looking at a couple of proud new boat owners! Colin and I went in on a used boat with Julie and Jess. She’s old and needs some TLC, but we have a couple of handy, hard-working guys ready and willing to restore her to her former glory. For the price of $700 we got ourselves an old boat with a working motor. Can’t wait to take her to Lasqueti Island!
Cool! How many people will it carry? So fun!
The Retro Avocado. There – she has a name.
Seaworthiness comes to mind because as you know we always want you to err on the side of safety. That said looks like fun.
love
Today I worked all day at a boring discovery. After work Julie and I went to a cardio kick aerobics class, which was awesome! I haven’t had such a great workout in ages. And then we came home and I made some dinner, and then we got to work on my new puzzle.
I LOVED that class! And I’m starting to feel it in my bum! It was a fun night and I enjoyed the zen of puzzle-doing. Have you converted Colin yet?
Hey, leave me a comment!!
