Two photos for today! We rigged up a swing to hang off the boom today while we were motoring in the hot sun, which was wonderfully fun and refreshing. It was lovely to be hovering over the water, letting my feet skim the surface, and then be dunked in periodically. I took this photo while perched on the swing.
Paul and Jorg at the helm, wearing their cute matching shirts. Looking good, boys!
I miss being on that sparkly blue water all day. Those hats. Those shirts. Need I say more?
Today we motored to Prevost Island and anchored in James Bay where we’d heard rumour of a wild orchard just up the beach. Sure enough, the rumours were true, and we picked ourselves some apples for a nice snack!
yum
Me and my floaty toy! The water wasn’t so warm in the Gulf Islands, but the sun was hot enough to make me want to go for a float. I grabbed a rope and let myself be pulled through the water behind the boat for a spell to cool off.
Lookng good hon!
love mom & dad
p.s. great pics
Aaah, boat life. The Atlas was perhaps a touch spartan for our needs this trip. We managed to squeeze eight people onto a 30-foot Hunter, which was actually surprisingly roomy until bed time, at which point the sleeping arrangements were a bit like sardines in a can. Good times though!
Ah, the Atlas. Good times.
Fun! And look at Jenny’s cute belly.
p.s. who invited all the boys from the farm?
Hey, leave me a comment!!
